A fish and rice cake man clashes with a gurning rave guy at a festival
Two internet icons collided at a festival this weekend, and we’re here for it.
New photos have captured Fish And Rice Cake Guy hanging out with Gurning Rave Guy, and it’s the weird mix of viral fame we’ve all been waiting for.
Showing off his brand new set of abs, Fish And Rice Cake Guy (otherwise known as Danny Andrews) gave a thumbs up to the camera while getting close to Gurning Rave Guy (real name Shaun Jackson), who was also over-branded as always and looked like he had doubled all weekend.
Danny posted two photos of their hangout on Instagram, and no one knows why they weren’t swarmed with throngs of adoring fans.
Danny shot to fame 15 years ago when he appeared in the BBC Three documentary Baby Faced Bodybuilderswhile Shaun entered the meme hall of fame after being seen having his jaw practically dislocated in a promotional video for rave nightclub “Bounce by the ounce” in 2014.
It was Danny’s Baby Faced Bodybuilders appearance that earned him the nickname Fish And Rice Cake Guy.
Just 16 at the time, Danny was preparing for the Mr Cumbria bodybuilding contest and became an instant hit with viewers after revealing the diet he adopted ahead of the contest.
He said, “Eight o’clock in the morning, I’ll have fish and a rice cake.” At 10 o’clock I will catch fish. At noon, I will have fish and a rice cake. two o’clock, I’ll have fish. At four o’clock – just before I train – I will have fish and rice cake. I’ll train, I’ll get fished. I’ll go home, eat fish again, with rice cake, then eat fish again before I go to bed.”
Earlier this month, Danny left fans flabbergasted with his gnarly body transformation, taking to Instagram to reveal that in just four months he had been seriously shredded.
The gym enthusiast flaunted his weight transformation from February to June by posing in front of a mirror and flexing his toned muscles.
Danny regularly updates fans on his physique and workout routines, and told fans his recent transformation was down to “six weeks of hard training and good nutrition.”
“His [sic] first time in 8 years!! I had a hard blow this weekend, so I’m getting back to it, it will be even better,” he said at the time.
Although they shared the details of his efforts online, many viewers still jokingly attribute his success to the wonders of fish and rice cakes, with one of these comments: “Fish and a rice cake paid off. “
